This is Norway for Botswana

Norway and Botswana have had a long-standing relationship for over 30 years in several development and health projects. The approach between the two countries has always been progressive, empowerment, and transformation based. For that reason, Norway handed over many development and health projects that Botswana took over and developed further with excellence.

Norway for Botswana (NfB) is a humanitarian organisation that revives this relationship by focusing on several gaps on humanitarian services.  NfB is committed to, with a partnership and empowerment approach, mobilise resources to support the left behind vulnerable communities in Botswana including women, the girl child,  and young people who face different challenges: gender inequalities, orphanhood and grief, sexual abuse, domestic violence,  educational challenges, drug and alcohol problems.

At developmental level NfB mobilises manpower, financial and physical resources to support rural communities on water purification systems, construction, and infrastructure. NfB also mobilises Medical personnel, Engineers, Psychologists, Social workers, Educationists and Social interventionists to impart contemporary needed skills by training teams within these professional fields in Botswana – for the country’s further development.
