Help a child with a school stater pack....

Adolescent orphans who participate in the wilderness therapy programs, together with younger vulnerable orphans in their villages need school starter packs. As these cohorts of adolescents orphans complete wilderness therapy they form kinships of age-mates who support one another over some years.

On their return home, these kinships of young people will take a Mentor role and pass your donated school starter pack to the little ones - younger vulnerable orphans. The school starter pack will be a gesture to start an Education Mentor for these younger ones. Adolescent kinships will do this during their “Welcome back traditional ceremony.”

The “Welcome back traditional ceremony” is a big event where their caregivers, traditional leaders (chiefs) and professions that support them welcome them with traditional dance, ululations, poetry, and the naming of their kinship - It is a ceremony to say “well-done and we will support you!”
