NfB has a project underway to model establishment of preschools for 0-5 year olds in Botswana, particularly targeting needy children. Although Botswana offers free education from Primary school to University level, there is a gap in caring for the 0-5 years old. Given that parents are busy and need to fend for their families, children in poor families (who cannot afford private preschools) are exposed to different risks. Giving them opportunity to mingle with their agemates in a conducive stimulating and learning environment can help prepare them to be strong citizens.  More information later…
